Tatar Tuition Assistance Fund

Henry J. Smith Charitable Trust for St. Malachy School

Since 2006 the Walter Tatar Family Tuition Assistance Fund has allowed the Henry J. Smith Charitable Trust to provide financial aid to the families that qualify for tuition assistance.

While the funds for financial assistance come from the Trust, St. Malachy School administers the application process and manages the distribution of funds to the many families that qualify and receive tuition assistance.

At the time of his generous initial gift on June 2, 2005, Mr. Tatar expressed his feelings by saying, “I’m only giving back gifts that God has given us.”
